Have been impressed with the new product. Portable and holds up well in jersey pockets. In terms of taste, I like all the flavors. Leaning toward the cherry and apple as favorites. Good for protein snack but also works well for me on rides and easy to chew and digest. Great product.

Really pumped about the Addra protein bars. As a maturing female athlete who spends a lot of time on the roads, woods and often drives more than 30 minutes to races and run- and ride-meetups, I have been in search of a quick and accessible post-workout protein bar that packs protein in the high teens (17-18 grams or protein plus 1.5 grams of luceine/bar) and doesn't taste like over-sweetened play-doh bricks (10g of sugar/bar). For an added punch, these bars contain luceine, a pea protein and key-branched amino acid chain that triggers muscle protein synthesis and helps with overall recovery.The variety pack is a favorite in our house as my go-tos are the chocolate, cherry almond (real pieces of dried tart cherry and almonds and vegan and GF) and apple pie (vegan and GF) and my husband gravitates towards the chocolate chip (real chocolate chips and GF) and peanut butter (GF). Just saying, but they also pair nicely with a smoky bourbon for dessert -particularly the chocolate cherry almond and apple pie bars. Highly recommend.

Recommended Protein Dosing

Athletes should consume 30g of protein or equivalent post-endurance exercise (e.g. 1 Addra Bar). Each meal should also contain at least 20g of protein with protein-rich snacks between meals. Drive for a protein ‘hit’ about every 3 hours throughout the day.
